Western Power Distribution (WPD) will be drilling four bore holes around the site of the electricity substation on Addision Road starting the week of 20th March 2017. WPD expects the work will take them no more than 5 days and will take place only on weekdays from 8am to 4pm. It is not expected that this will cause any problems at all with your electricity supply.
WPD will ensure that any impact from this work is reduced as much as possible. However, you may hear some noise as the holes are being drilled by equipment which is powered by a generator. There will not be any HGV movements needed to carry out these surveys. You may see a few additional vehicles on local roads whilst this work is being undertaken. WPD and their approved contractors will ensure that they will leave the site in the same condition it was before survey work started.
This work is being done with the agreement of the owners of the land where these temporary holes will be drilled and filled in again.
